Young Scholars

Young Scholars is a program for students in the feeder in years 5 and 6 who are looking for an academic pathway. The Young Scholars Program is to reward young students who have succeeded academically, are good role models for their peers, and also are strong in one or more areas of sport, art, dance, drama, music, public speaking, debating and information technology.

Such ‘all-roundedness’ in students will provide them with an education for life in the 21st century. This philosophy is continued in Taminmin College’s Leading Learner High Achiever, where students are further encouraged to be critical thinkers with a sense of international-mindedness in an interconnected, globalised world.
