Facilities
Set in a beautiful woodland environment of Humpty Doo, Taminmin boasts a number of state of the art facilities, that cater to all the varying age ranges that attend our college.
Steam Centre
The STEAM centre is a state of the art world class facility that allows for flexible learning in the areas of mathematics, science, digital technology and agriculture.

Arts, Home Economics, Digital Media and Science Block
A total refurbishment of the Arts, Home Economics and Science block will give students and staff fabulous modern facilities for the future. There are areas for outdoor learning, a new digital technology facility and refurbished science laboratories.
Taminmin Farm
Taminmin has a mixed produce tropical farm of 75 hectares which is fully integrated into our educational programs, as well as VET rural programs. Agriculture is introduced to year 7 and students are able to choose it as an elective subject in years 8, 9 and 10. It can also be studied in years 11 and 12 as part of the Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training/or VET Programs.

Selected VET students are trained to show our livestock and other produce at the Fred’s Pass Rural Show, as well as the Katherine and Darwin shows. Taminmin continues to win awards for livestock for which we have established an excellent reputation throughout the Northern Territory.
Woodside Reserve
The natural resource area of 150 hectares was named Woodside to acknowledge the assistance given by Woodside Energy Ltd in developing this area into a teaching and learning resource for the school. The reserve is a valuable teaching resource and students use this facility across the curriculum. Students at all year levels use the reserve for research and practical studies in conservation and land management
Vocational Education Facilities
Taminmin boasts industry standard facilities from which to deliver Vocational Education courses. These include Automotive, Construction, Engineering, Taminmin Farm, Business hub, Hospitality, Retail and Tourism.
Playground
The adventure playground is a popular facility for students. A shade structure over the playground enables student use during all weather conditions.

Special Education Centre
The SEC is a purpose built facility for identified students. Having the SEC on the school campus enables students to access mainstream and VET classes as part of the curriculum offerings.
Community Library
Taminmin Community Library is a joint-use service for the residents of the Litchfield Council and Taminmin College students and staff. Members of the public are welcome at all times.
As information specialists we offer a diverse range of resources, both print and digital, across all curriculum area and expertise in finding the best resources suitable to the needs of our users. We promote the love of reading and literature through our fantastic fiction collection and our many literary events. Our library is a warm and welcoming space where students and members of the wider community work and relax side by side.
