Beef Week
We currently four VET students, Victoria Dakin, Morten Helion, Brayden Simmonds and Stavros Fermanis are representing Taminmin at Beef Week in Rockhamptom QLD with other students from the Territory as organised by the Department Of Education. Beef Week is Australia’s national beef expo and is one of the world’s great cattle events.
There are 450 students from across Australia there this week competing.
Our students have done very well, and unlike many exhibiters at Beef Week our cattle are bringing home a couple of ribbons!
= Milly got 6th in her class of 19 head
= Lance got 3rd in his class of 4 head
= 4th in female progeny class out of 8 groups
That’s the brahman judging finished and the group still has the young judges on Friday.
