School Captains and Year Level Leaders
Taminmin College School Captains and Year Level Leaders are elected each year by consensus of peers and staff.
Year 12 students can nominate for this prestigious role during Term 4 the previous year (Year 11). School Captains acknowledge and develop leadership and represent exemplary role models for all students. The School Captains undertake a variety of leadership roles throughout the year, including hosting of the awards evenings at the end of the year and representing the College at commemoration events.
Students in Year 7 through to Year 11 can nominate for the role of Year Level Leader. Up to four students can undertake the role for each year level. Year Level Leaders undertake a range of functions representing the College, including the proceedings of whole school assemblies.
